"Carmela is a wonderful teacher!  Our 5.5 daughter, Harper, started with her about five months ago.  Harper is on the more active side for a five year old, preferring to jump on her scooter than sit still for any period of time.  But, Carmela has made playing the piano fun!!  She uses an approach that’s mostly play, integrating basic writing, coordination and singing skills as they work through activity books together.  When Harper and I practice together on off-nights, she shows me the way to sing songs and do different activities.  This is a much better introduction to piano than I had as a kid, which launched into memorizing progressions.  As a highlight, we're loving to listen to Harper play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and *hear* when she plays the wrong note.  We highly recommend Carmela!"
